Electrolysis Kit

The Electrolysis Kit consists of the Aluminum Anode and a strap which fastens the anode to the motor assembly. The Electrolysis Kit is recommended for use in extreme saltwater conditions.The aluminum anode is a sacrificial metal that protects the Ice Eater from corrosion and electrolysis. The aluminum anode is the best choice of sacrificial anodes for all water types. Unlike zinc anodes, the aluminum anode has zero cadmium in the alloy, making it environmentally friendly and suitable for all uses.One size fits all Ice Eaters and all off-brand de-icers with a motor can diameter up to 8″.
