These whips provide a ”safety zone” between dock and boat with a unique ”spring action” that keeps your boat away from the dock. The large diameter solid fiberglass rods are wrapped with cross-wound layers of fiber for superior strength and flexibility. The durable solid cast-aluminum base has a molded-in cleat and ring to easily fasten your lines. A functional roller tip on the whip in addition to a unique tensioner allow easy one-hand operation. Deluxe 14′ Whips offer a ”plug and play” design for quick and easy separation of the two whip halves for storage. All Dockmate Mooring Whips come as a pair with all necessary lines and hardware to complete installation. Note that some docking conditions may be too rough for this type of system. 3-year warranty.
